Pakistan shoots down consumer drone, says it was from India
A Chinese made consumer photography drone was shot down along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber, Azad Kasmir in Pakistan and the latter has blamed India for flying the drone inside its border.

Deactivation of 440th Airlift Wing postponed for another year
The U.S. Air Force Reserve Command has decided against inactivating the 440th Airlift Wing at Pope Field this year. The unit had started transferring its people to other locations but legislation by Sen. Thom Tillis and Rep. Renee Ellmers forced the service to shelf the plan.

South African deploys Gripens, Hawks to Botswana for Exercise Blue Okavango
A two-week Exercise Blue Okavango is being held in Botswana and the South African Air Force deployed two Gripens, two Hawks, two A109s, one Oryx and one C-130 there.

FA-50PH likely to fly during 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines celebrations
Philippine Defense Undersecretary for Finance, Modernization and Materiel Fernando Manalo confirmed that two FA-50PHs are expected to be delivered in December and they will likely be flying during celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
