The Indian Army will get new anti-aircraft guns after the Defence Acquisition Council cleared the purchase on Jul. 15. The new weapons will have to be bought from Indian companies.

At the same meeting, the council also approved the purchase of four additional P-8I maritime patrol aircraft.
