Plan for an exhibit of Mitsubishi Zero fighter divides town

Residents living in the town of Toyoyama, Aichi Prefecture, Japan are split over a plan by the Aichi prefectural government to display a Mitsubishi Zero fighter as part of an aviation industry exhibit.

Some old folks are against the move as they had suffered during the Second World War then the government forced them to vacate their land and help construct the Imperial Army Air Service’s Komaki airfield.
