A team from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have found a simple way to disable a flying drone by knocking them out of the sky with sound.

Researchers discovered that many commercial drones have cheap gyroscopes that resonate when exposed to certain sound frequencies.
In their research paper, to be presented at the 24th USENIX Security Symposium, the team described how a drone is affected by noise at 140 decibels.
