Textron AirLand’s Scorpion might not compete in T-X under current conditions

Textron AirLand may not enter the U.S. Air Force’s T-X jet trainer competition as it feels the requirements set are too high for its Scorpion to achieve.

Although the company is still in consultation with the air force regarding the competition, it feels the Scorpion is not competitive enough to secure a win.
