South Korea will have a new ballistic missile with 800km range by 2017

South Korea has officially announced it is developing a new ballistic missile with a range of up to 800 km and it will be ready by 2017. The new missile will allow the South to hit all areas in North Korea.

Work on the new missile started after the South Korea Ballistic Missile Range Guidelines was revised in October 2012 to allow South Korea to field ballistic missiles with range of up to 800 km.
