The PLAAF August 1st aerobatic team will perform at Royal Thai Air Force Wing 1 (Korat) on Nov. 26-27 as part of RTAF/PLAAF joint exercise Falcon Strike. The Royal Thai Air Force Gripen and F-16 solo displays will perform during those two days as well.

New Chinese aerial refueling tanker based on H-6K?
A new Chinese military aerial refueling aircraft that is converted from the H-6K bomber is seen on Yanliang airbase in Xi’an on Google Earth’s latest image updates of the site. Under-wing aerial refueling pods can be seen near the wingtips which differentiate this aircraft from the bomber version.

Spanish government clears purchase of MQ-9s
The Spanish government has approved a request from the military to buy 4 MQ-9s. Cost for the purchase is $176 million which includes two Mobile Ground Control Stations.

Pakistan Air Force chief flew in a RAF Eurofighter
The highest-ranking officer for the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, was given a flight in a Royal Air Force Eurofighter during an official visit to RAF Coningsby on Oct. 29.
Weaponization of Italy’s MQ-9s
The U.S. government has agreed to allow Italy to weaponized it MQ-9 fleet. The estimated cost of the project is $129.6 million.
