Boeing, Lockheed Martin protest LRS-B contract award

Boeing and Lockheed Martin have decided to lodge a protest with the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) over the award of the Long Range Strike-Bomber (LRS-B) contract to Northrop Grumman.

The aerospace giants said that the cost evaluation process did not give proper credit to their attempts to lower costs for manufacturing the bomber.
