In a regulatory filing with the stock exchange, Xi’an Aircraft International Corporation said chief designer Tang Changhong and chief engineer He Shengqiang have both tendered their job resignation letters on Nov. 16.

Both resignations take immediate effect. As He has 2,000 shares, he will remain at the company to serve as general manager. Tang will leave the company.
Tang is said to be the man behind the JH-7 fighter bomber and more recently, took charge of the Y-20 transport program.
