President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo told reporters to ask the Indonesian Air Force on the decision to replace the Super Puma VVIP helicopters with the AW101 during a ceremony at Institut Pertanian Bogor, West Java on Nov. 28.

“They [Air Force] bought it. I will only be using it once or twice a month.”
The purchase of the three helicopters had come under criticism since it was announced and even Vice President Jusuf Kalla refused to comment whether the change was necessary.
