The Israeli Defense Force is preparing for its next five-year plan and the situation in Israel’s neighborhood has changed dramatically since the last plan was formulated.

“We didn’t think even in our dreams that we’d see S-400 anti-aircraft missiles in our backyard,” General Staff officer was quoted as saying.
“Nor did we think cruise missiles would be flying over Syria.”
