North Korea’s submarine was damaged during test-firing of SLBM

Western defense officials believe North Korea had suffered a severe setback in its KN-11 submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) program.

Analysis of satellite photos suggest the Sinpo-class submarine was damaged when the KN-11 missile failed during a test on Nov. 28 in the Sea of Japan near Wonson.

Washington Free Beacon said Kim Jong Un might be present at the test site during the failed attempt.
