South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration spokesperson Kim Si-cheol said Defense Minister Han Min-koo has approved the F-16 upgrade program to be carried out by the Lockheed Martin.

Initially awarded to BAE Systems, the previous contract also called for replacing the AN/APG-68 radar with one from Raytheon. The new contract switches the radar to the AN/APG-83 from Northrop Grumman.
