Egypt, France failed to reach agreement on military satellites

French newspaper La Tribune reported on Dec. 23 that Paris and Cairo had failed to reach an agreement over the sale of two military satellites.

Egypt had wanted to buy an observation satellite and a military telecommunications satellite but both sides couldn’t reach a consensus before the Egyptian delegation, lead by Minister of military production Brig. Gen. Mohamed Saeed El-Assar, went back home on Tuesday.
