Two Philippine officials said separately that Manila will be lodging a protest with China over the recent test flight at Fiery Cross Reef in South China Sea.
Philippine has claimed the reef as one of its own and named it Kagitingan. Vietnam has also laid claim to the reef, which is now an artificial island.
