JASDF deployed C-130, T-4s to take air samples to test for radioactive particles

One day after North Korea reported that it detonated a nuclear weapon, Japan deployed a C-130 and four T-4s to gather air samples and analyze them to see whether radioactive particles are present.

The T-4s were flown individually from Misawa, Hyakuri, Tsuiki and Komatsu air base. The C-130 came from Komaki air base.
