Azerbaijan said to be next buyer of JF-17

Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain told a delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) that Azerbaijan is to buy the JF-17 as well.

  1. If anything makes sense in Fighter acqusitions IT is this….excellent hi-lo mix (with Su-30) without confrontation of interests. It’s Russian engine (and maybe Russian weapons integration) and Chinese airframe – Azerbaijan making everybody happy and saving money…however, if this is true networking and above mentioned (eventual) integration of Russian weapons could be a challenge.
