Afghan Air Force getting another 12 MD 530Fs

MD Helicopters has received a new contract to supply the Afghan Air Force with another 12 MD 530F Cayuse Warrior light attack helicopters.

The first batch of 12 Cayuse Warriors were delivered to the customer last year to support the 2015 fighting season in Afghanistan.

Previously, it was reported that Afghanistan was not satisfied with the helicopter’s performance. Pilots were critical about its attack capabilities and lamented about its performance.
