Six B-52Hs now able to drop JDAMs from internal weapons bay

Boeing has delivered six upgraded internal weapons bay launchers to the U.S. Air Force for installation on its B-52H fleet. The new enhancements allows the bomber to launch eight Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) at one time from the internal bay.

The launchers will be further enhanced to allow the carriage of Joint Air-to-Surface Stand Off Missiles and Miniature Air Launched Decoys. It can also be moved from one bomber to another.
