Kuwait Air Force chief says he’s willing to wait for Super Hornets

At the Bahrain airshow, the chief of Kuwait Air Force said the Super Hornet “is one of the best solutions” for his service’s needs as the country waits for Washington to approve the sale of 28 Super Hornets.

Boeing and Pentagon officials have grown frustrated at the pace of progress to get the Foreign Military Sale to be approved.

The production line is running out of orders and Boeing will soon have to decided if it has to use its own funds to buy long-lead items.
