South Korea to link missile defense system with U.S. missile defense shield

South Korea is ready to share data from its Korean Air and Missile Defense System (KAMD) with the United States military using Link-16.

By tapping into the network, South Korean could end up sharing its data with Japan, which have similar arrangements with the Pentagon.

South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense insisted that arrangements are in place to prevent the information flow to Japan.
