Several plots of land at the Trikora Complex will be acquired by the Ministry of Transport for the terminal of the 142.4 km high-speed rail link that connects Jakarta and Bandung. The Air Force felt that having the terminal situated there will have an effect on the base’s security as the airport is used to ferry VIPs.
