MiG-31 crashed, fleet grounded

The Russian Air Force has grounded all its MiG-31 fighters after one of them crashed in Krasnoyarsk Territory on Jan. 25. Both crew members ejected safely.

The interceptor was on a routine training missile when it crashed in a wooded area 40 kilometres northwest of the town of Kansk.
