United States Forces Korea (USFK) told reporters that the MQ-1C UAV will be deployed by the 2nd Infantry Division in the event of a war on the Korean Peninsula.

“It would take about a day for Gray Eagles to arrive on the peninsula from the U.S. mainland, if transported by a C-17 transport plane,” according to one official.
The MQ-1C was previously deployed to Gunsan Air Base in August 2015 for an exercise.
