Aviation Week: Arsenal plane could be B-1, B-52 or both aircraft

A source that is familiar with the arsenal plane concept proposed by the Pentagon told Aviation Week that two platforms being considered are the B-1 and B-52.

“It’s still conceptual and no program has been established. It’s indicative of the kinds of things they are thinking about that could give them an advantage in precision strike. It could end up being both bombers,” the source was quoted as saying.
