HAL Tejas LSP-7 fired a Derby Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) for the first time on Feb. 5.

The missile was launched in a non-intercept mode as part of the Tejas weapons trial. The Python 5 dogfight missile will be tested by the Tejas next.
