Kuwait’s parliament approved a draft law on Mar. 1 that will transfer $500 million from the country’s coffers to the Eurofighter consortium.

The money is an advance payment for 28 Eurofighters. State news agency KUNA said the money will be drawn from Kuwait’s general reserve fund.
