India’s Law Ministry is against Rafale deal

India’s Law Ministry is said to have raised several issues with regards to the contract for 36 Rafale fighters.

An official privy to the development said the contract was drafted towards France’s favor. For example, the liability clause was watered down.

The French government is also refusing to give any bank guarantees.
