At the FIDAE airshow in Chile, an executive from Embraer brief Reuters on the latest development in the KC-390 flight test program.
Jackson Schneider, Executive Vice President of Defense and Security at Embraer, said the testing program is progressing on schedule and the second prototype aircraft will soon make its first flight.
He also admitted that the delays “had affected potential customers.”
