B-52s arrived at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar

For the first time in 26-years, the B-52 bomber is being based in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The aircraft arrived at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar on Apr. 9 from their home base in Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

The bombers are there to support theater requirements and Operation Inherent Resolve.
