USAF could include A-10’s replacement in next 5-year budget plan

The U.S. Air Force has been circulating a draft document for a new close-air-support aircraft to replace the A-10, the service’s deputy chief of staff for strategic plans and requirements said.

If all goes according to plans, a new attack jet requirement could figure in the service’s five-year budget plan that runs from FY 2018-2022.
