JF-17 offered to Sri Lanka at $29 million a copy

According to the Sri Lanka Leader, Pakistan is offering the JF-17 fighter to Sri Lanka at $29 million each.

Pakistan has been pressing Sri Lanka to buy the fighter to replace its MiG-27 and Kfir but India is strongly opposing the deal.

The newspaper said now President Maithripala Sirisena has decided that Sri Lanka will source its fighter from Russia instead.
