British Airways flight was intercepted by Hungarian Gripen

British Airways flight BA0108, from Dubai to London, was intercepted Gripen fighters scrambled by the Hungarian Air Force after its lost contact with air traffic controllers on Apr. 30.

The airliner was entered Hungarian airspace without any radio contact with controllers and a decision was made to launch the fighters to establish communications.

A spokesman from the airline said communication was quickly restored and the flight landed without further issues.
