Boeing is confident of keeping its fighter production lines alive into the 2020s

At Boeing’s annual meeting in Chicago, CEO Dennis Muilenburg told reporters that the company is confident that its F-15 and F/A-18 production line will still be churning out aircraft after 2020.

At this juncture, Boeing will roll out the last fighter, a F-15 for Saudi Arabia, in 2019. However, Muilenburg expects the U.S. Navy to purchase more F/A-18s in the future while the F-15 production line will see more orders from abroad.
