Truman CSG strikes ISIL from Mediterranean Sea

The U.S. Navy has launched air strikes against ISIL using warplanes launched from aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Mediterranean Sea.

The last time the Navy launched air strikes in the Mediterranean was back in 2003, it was from USS Truman as well. That was to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.
