Satellite view of Chinese Type 001A aircraft carrier under construction

Stratfor has obtained satellite photos of the Chinese Type 001A aircraft carrier under construction in Dalian, Liaoning province.

They found that the basic superstructure of the ship is completed and workers are putting the flight deck together. Stratfor suggest that at this rate of building, the ship could be launched as soon as early 2017.
