Eight companies to work on Phase 2 of Collaborative Operations in Denied Environment program
DARPA has picked six companies to work with Lockheed Martin and Raytheon on the Collaborative Operations in Denied Environment (CODE) program.

Defense News says Germany has approached Britain, France, Netherlands and U.S. on pooling resources to operate a joint fleet of C-130s – similar in concept to the NATO C-17 sharing agreement.

Road-mobile option is out for Minuteman III replacement
A U.S. Air Force general said the service is currently not exploring a road-mobile option for its next-generation intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) to replace the Minuteman III.
