Germany suggests pooling of C-130s with NATO partners

Defense News says Germany has approached Britain, France, Netherlands and U.S. on pooling resources to operate a joint fleet of C-130s – similar in concept to the NATO C-17 sharing agreement.

The reported added that talks between Germany and France are at an advanced level. Both nations require a transport aircraft suitable for refueling helicopters in mid-air.
