Although the current VC-25 fleet’s retirement is still quite sometime away, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force has made preparations to add the collection to its large collection.

The museum recently added a new $40.8 million hangar at its site in Dayton and the 224,000-square-foot building has doors wide enough to accommodate the 747.
