Guy Oren, director of Rafael’s electro-optical systems unit, told Flightglobal that his company will be supplying 164 of its popular Litening targeting pods to the Indian Air Force.

India is acquiring the Litening 4 I version which comes with upgraded infrared cameras and a charge-coupled device color camera that can better pick up targets in dense areas.
The 4 I pod can double as surveillance and reconnaissance system for all four types of Indian frontline fighters slated to be integrated with it.
