A tender from the Polish Air Force for 40 R-27 air-to-air missiles has been won by a consortium comprising of Polish firm WB Electronics and Ukrainian state-owned company Spets Techno Export.

Winners will have to deliver the weapons to arm Poland’s MiG-29 fleet by end of November.
