Raytheon gets contract to produce AIM-9X Block II missiles for Japan, Norway and Taiwan

The Pentagon on Jul. 1 awarded a contract to Raytheon for 660 AIM-9X Block II missiles and some of these air-to-air weapons are destined for Japan, Norway and Taiwan.

Contract Release No: CR-126-16 stated that Japan will get four missiles, Norway 20 and 40 missiles for Taiwan.
