THAAD to be deployed in Seongju County, South Korea

Korean media are reporting that Seoul and Washington have agreed to deploy the THAAD system in Seongju County.

South Korea presently operates a HAWK missile site at the location and the unit is expected to vacate to make way for the American THAAD.

An announcement on the location is expected on Jul. 22.
