The carrier-borne variant of the F-35 will be out at sea next month aboard USS George Washington off the East Coast of United States for the third round of developmental tests.

F-35 Program Manager Lt. Gen. Christopher Bogdan told Defense News that this time, the jet will be pushed to its limits with scenarios such as asymmetric stores, heavy cross winds, high seas etc.
This high-tempo testing will be done whilst the carrier is busy having student pilots getting carrier-qualified.
