The Flight Deck Veterans Group (FDVG) is looking for volunteers and support in helping to restore F-14A BuNo. 160403 – affectionately known as Fast Eagle 102 – at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) High Sky Wing in Midland, Texas.

Fast Eagle 102 was the first U.S. Navy F-14 to shoot down another aircraft during the Gulf of Sidra incident on Aug. 19, 1981. Another Tomcat (BuNo. 160390) that shot down a Libyan Su-22 that day was not preserved.
