U.S. Army soldiers could be firing the M230 chain gun in future
The U.S. Army is making plans to make the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle its new Light Reconnaissance Vehicle platform and arm it with a variant of the M230 chain gun found on the AH-64 attack helicopter.

Final unmanned QF-4 flight
The QF-4 target drone flew its final unmanned flight on Aug. 17 out of Holloman Air Force Base. The aircraft was serving as a target for a F-35 at White Sands Missile Range.
