Finland welcomes Russia’s invitation to talks over issues related to safety in Baltic

Representatives of Nato countries and Finland and Sweden have been invited by the Russian Ministry of Defense to hold talks this September on issues relating to safety in the Baltic Sea region. The Finish Defense Ministry said it welcome the gesture but more details are required.

All non-deployed USMC squadrons to take “operational pause” within 7 working days

In the wake of another F/A-18 crash this week, the U.S. Marine Corps has ordered all its non-deployed squadrons to take an “operational pause” within seven working days.

Kazakhstan could become first export customer of Il-76MD-90

Kazakhstan is in discussions with Russia to buy the Il-76MD-90 cargo plane and the country will become the first export customer for the aircraft if talks are successful, Kommersant reported.
