Dutch, German air defense units to test joint concept of operations this October

Germany and Netherlands will bring their air defense units together in October to test out a new joint concept of operations, dubbed Project APOLLO, being develop by both countries over the past year.

300 German and 100 Dutch soldiers will operate as a Bi-national Air & Missile Defence Task Force in Crete and more than 40 missiles will be fired during the exercise.
