Hermes 900 operating in Mali in support of UN mission
Three Hermes 900 unmanned aerial vehicles are being flown in Africa to support the United Nations (UN) Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali. Jane’s reported that Thales UK got the job, which will last for at least three years.

C-17 exchanged broadband data over 1,500 miles via HF
Rockwell Collins has successfully tested its Wideband HF Receiver-Exciter on a C-17 and the cargo plane was able to exchange broadband data between Dover AFB Delaware and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

USAF F-15Cs to help patrol Bulgarian airspace
