33rd FW says its F-35As shot down 110 aircraft during Exercise Northern Lightning

The 33rd Fighter Wing brought 14 F-35As to Exercise Northern Lightning at Volk Field Air National Guard Base. Over a period of two-weeks, the fighters score 110 kills against simulated enemy aircraft over 138 sorties.

At the same time, a total of 24 GBU-12s were dropped.

Northern Lightning is a tactical-level, joint training exercise, the press release said.
